Dr. Bill McCoy
Dr. McCoy has proudly served the community with exceptional optometric care for over 35 years. He began his academic journey at Drury College in Springfield, Missouri, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he also met his wife, Suzanne.
Following graduation, Dr. McCoy and Suzanne made Salem their home and purchased the practice from Dr. John Hamilton. In 2001, Dr. McCoy upgraded the office into the beautiful facility it is today. He remains committed to continually investing in advanced technology and equipment to ensure his patients receive the highest quality eye care possible.
Beulah Chilton
Beulah is our certified optician and brings 40 years of experience in the field of optometry. Her extensive knowledge and dedication make her an invaluable resource for both our patients and our team.
As our insurance specialist, Beulah handles Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans. Thanks to her many years of experience within the practice, she is highly trained in every aspect of the office and has performed virtually every role. Her commitment helps ensure our office runs efficiently while providing amazing patient care
Suzanne McCoy
Suzanne is not only the wife of Dr. McCoy, but is also the office manager. She plays an essential role in the practice’s business operations, working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Suzanne manages payroll, oversees accounts, and ensures all financial processes are handled efficiently. She is a trusted and dependable member of the team, helping support both the staff and the success of the clinic.
Colette Kennedy
Colette has been a valued member of the practice for over six years. She brings more than 15 years of experience in healthcare. As our ophthalmic technician, she plays a key role in patient care by performing diagnostic testing and gathering important patient information. Colette takes her time and explains the health of the eye, leaving all patients who enter through our doors with a better understanding of their eyes health. Her experience helps ensure each patient receives thorough and efficient care.
Shelly Davis
Shelly has been a valued member of our team for over five years and brings many years of experience in healthcare to our practice. As our receptionist, she is often the first staff member you see, welcoming every patient with a warm smile.

Linda Knight
Linda has been a valued member of our practice for the past two years, bringing with her more than seven years of prior experience in eye care. Her healthcare career goes back over 35 years as an X-ray technologist, where she got her skills in patient care, attention to detail, and compassionate service from. At our office, Linda specializes in helping patients find the perfect pair of frames to match their style and needs.
As a long-time resident of Salem, Linda has built lasting relationships within the community and with our patients. Her pleasant, cheerful demeanor makes her one of the favorite faces you’ll see when you visit. With her extensive experience and dedication, Linda is a trusted and valued member of our team.
Torri Schafer
Torri is Dr. McCoy’s Optician. She specializes in contact lenses and assists Dr. McCoy during eye exams and emergencies. She is highly skilled in ensuring each patient’s contact lenses provide comfortable and clear vision. Torri is compassionate with our patients making sure they have the best experience and care possible.
Jess Light
Jess has been a dedicated member of our practice for Three years. She specializes in our in-house laboratory, where she carefully cuts and edges lenses to ensure each pair of glasses meets our high quality standards. Her skills and attention to detail makes her an invaluable part of our team.
