Dr. Bill McCoy
Dr. McCoy has been providing vision care to the Salem area for over 30 years. That is something he is proud of. Knowing he will be there when you need him means a lot. His office is “state-of-the-art” and strives to provide the latest high-tech equipment, as well as a warm, comfortable atmosphere. There is a constant effort by Dr. McCoy and his staff to make sure your eye care experience is one that makes you feel like a guest, not a patient. Dr. McCoy started his optometric education at Drury College in Springfield, Mo. then was accepted to the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. After graduation, Dr. McCoy and his wife moved to Salem and bought the practice of Dr. John Hamilton.
Beulah Chilton
Beulah is also a certified optician and has over 25 years of experience in the optical field. She knows her stuff! She also handles many of the insurance questions and information that is required on many of the medical and vision plans that we accept. Because of her experience, she can do just about any job in the office. That is why we call her our “Girl Friday.”
Suzanne McCoy
Suzanne works in the business office and is rarely seen by patients. She does the payroll and writes the checks and pays the bills. She started working in the office after the kids got older and left the nest. By the way, she is the doctor’s wife.
Chelsey Miller
Chelsey has been with the practice for almost 10 years. She is a home-town girl and is familiar with many of our patients. Chelsey works in our laboratory making glasses for our patients. Her husband George manages the Walmart Vision Center so let’s just say they’re all about eyes! In her free time, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter Evelyn, and hosting game nights with her friends. Her parents stay busy running the Common Grounds restaurant.
Caitlin Corkell
Caitlin has been with the practice for 5 years. She was raised in Salem but has recently settled down in Licking. Caitlin mainly works with insurance and referrals but helps out just about everywhere in the office. Her husband Daniel manages Kienstra Ready Mix. They have 5 beautiful children and enjoy spending their free time at New Harmony Church or with Encounter Ministries. Caitlin will gladly assist you with all your vision needs!
Colette Kennedy
Colette has only been with the practice for a few months but comes to us with over 15 years of healthcare experience. She is one of our 3 technicians that performs diagnostic testing and assists the doctor. Colette values family above all things and enjoys spending time out on the lake or with her horses. Her husband Chuck works for Brown’s Heating & Cooling and they share 4 awesome kiddos.
Micah Gott
Micah has been with the practice for almost 2 years and specializes in frame selection. When she’s not helping patients select glasses she’s helping out in the lab. Micah has lived in Salem her whole life and knows many of our patients personally. She loves shopping and sushi! When she’s not working, Micah loves spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Tiffini Stewart
Tiffini has been with the practice for a little over a year now. She specializes in contact lenses and assists Dr. McCoy with eye exams. She enjoys interacting with patients and helping them achieve better vision. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband Ty, their two children, and their German shepherd and goldendoodle. Tiffini loves yoga, wine tasting, and relaxing on the beach.
Shelly Davis
Shelly may be the newest member of our team but she comes to us with many years of experience in healthcare. As our receptionist, she will be the first person you’ll visit with. She spends most of her day checking people in and out and obtaining insurance information. In her free time, Shelly enjoys spending time at the lake with her kids and grandkids or playing with her dogs. Dr. McCoy likes to call her “The Hair”
